Since I have a few minutes before the plumber arrives to fix an inspection item on our current residence, which we now have under contract, I decided to share dinner with you.
Spring where I live is volatile to say the least. On any given day, we may see rain, snow, hail and sunshine. The standard spring saying here is, “If you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes.”
So, on this cold morning, which greeted me with a fresh dusting of snow, I decided to pull out a recipe for “Bliss in a Bowl”, otherwise known as Shortcut Potato Soup. I cook all beef bacon ( yes, I eat biblically clean), then deglaze the pan with a bit of white wine, which I add to the recipe. It’s just delicious on a winter evening.
Imagine wrapping up in a big, fuzzy blanket straight out of the dryer. Yea, it’s that good.
During this time of being home more, try some new recipes. My dad loves experimenting on us on his two days a week that he cooks.

Enjoy!
